Monica Varela Jewelry is thoughtfully handcrafted by skilled artisans in New York and the Dominican Republic, using 925 sterling silver plated in platinum or 18k gold, a delicate microfiber interior layer, and ethically sourced Dominican gemstones.
To help preserve its beauty and longevity:
- Avoid direct contact with perfumes, lotions, sunscreen, alcohol, cosmetics, and other chemical substances.
- Avoid exposure to water, particularly hot water, as well as swimming pools, hot tubs, seawater, steam, and prolonged humidity.
- We recommend removing your jewelry before showering, swimming, exercising, sleeping, or engaging in vigorous physical activities.
- For routine care and buildup removal, polish your piece only with our jewelry cloth using light strokes in one direction.
- Our packaging is designed to accompany and protect your jewelry while traveling. For optimal preservation, store each piece clean and dry in a jewelry box or airtight case, especially in humid or coastal environments.
Environmental conditions and each individual’s natural body chemistry may affect the materials over time.
As part of our commitment to the excellence and longevity of our creations, we offer maintenance and cleaning services to help preserve your jewelry over time. Should a piece require special attention, our team will be pleased to guide you on its proper care.
